Egypt is is a transcontinental country spanning the northeast corner of Africa and southwest corner of Asia by a land bridge formed by the Sinai Peninsula. It's featured in Witchblade/Tomb Raider.

Shrine of Bastet[]
Lara Croft and Buck Ogden travelled to Egypt in search of the Shrine of Bastet. Inside the shrine they saw a heroglyph portraying the Witchblade. They also find the Idol of Bastet. As Lara removes the idol from the pedestal, the statues around the shrine come to life and attack them. While Lara manages to escape, Buck gets lock behind in the pyramid.
